Built in 1927 to a Sir Herbert Baker design, our Country House has been restored to its Victorian glory, with all the modern comforts. Accommodating up to 10 guests in luxury suites, the Country House is child-friendly and gives guests the run of the property, including the swimming pool, tennis court and braai area.

As a tribute to the former owners of the Elgin Orchards farm, each of the rooms in the Country House is named after a former Elgin Orchards owner. Syfret, Browne and Denniston suites each sleeps 2 guests, while the Hahn family suite can accommodate 4 guests.

Our English country gardens are the perfect place to experience the view of wide-open Elgin skies and the encircling Hottentots Holland and Kogelberg mountains.
